Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get to Utila? Is it safe? Are flights included? Do I need travel insurance?
Many major carriers offer flights to to Roatan. From there, you will take a short Ferry to Utila.
Flights are not included. Cost of the Ferry is included. Arrive in Roatan before 12:30PM (or the day before) to make the 2pm Ferry. Departure flights should be after 2 pm.
Utila is very safe and locals are very welcoming and friendly.
Are there optional activities?
SCUBA Diving and Discovery SCUBA, Snorkeling, Horseback Riding, Fishing and more are available at an extra cost.
Will there be WiFi and cell service??
Wifi is available at the resort and cellular service is available on the island (quality not guaranteed.)
What kind of food will be provided? Are dietary restrictions accommodated?
Food will be varied, local fare, healthy food and some simple meals like burgers and salads.
Dietary restrictions can be met. Email lmcdowell@reimagineu.net with specific restrictions or other questions.
What other activities are available besides SCUBA? Is this a physically demanding retreat?
Possibly activities include hiking, horseback riding, yoga, fishing, and swimming or hanging out on the beach.
The retreat is not physically demanding and all activities are optional. Plenty of free time is included.
What is the weather? What should I pack for the retreat?
Weather will be warm, high of 85-90F, low of around 70-75F.
Bring shorts, tees, sundresses and swimsuits. Bring light long sleeves and long pants for early mornings and evenings when it could be buggy. Also bring a light jacket/sweatshirt.
The retreat is casual, nothing fancy required. Do bring beach shoes and good shoes for walking/hiking.
Do I need travel vaccinations or visas for Honduras?
Visas are not required. Yellow Fever Vaccinations are only required for those arriving from Panama and South America.
Can I bring my spouse and kids? Can I have my own room?
All rooms have a double bed and a single bed. Spouses and kids are welcome.

What is the payment schedule, and when is the final balance due? What happens if I need to cancel?
A $500 deposit saves your space. (non-refundable)
Full Payment is due by September 25, 2025.
If you need to cancel , you can find someone to take your spot up until 3 days before the event.
